Morgan Web3 Labs Ltd hosted an AMA to outline how AetheriumX is turning DeFi into play and what users can expect from the project’s upcoming airdrop. Speaking on the session, AetheriumX’s Chief Marketing Officer shared the growth approach, participation mechanics, and how the airdrop connects to the broader product roadmap across DeFi, GameFi, and prediction markets.

What AetheriumX Is Building
AetheriumX aims to make decentralized finance interactive and session-based, not merely passive. The product brings together:
- Playable DeFi wallet: Stake assets (e.g., USDT/ETH/BNB/SOL) to earn AXT.
- AXT → VEXA path: Restake AXT to mint VEXA, a governance-aligned asset that unlocks boosted rewards, voting, and access to special events.
- Game Portal (teaser): Short, engaging gameplay, prediction events, and NFT mechanics designed to keep participation fun and recurring.
“We’re not chasing short-term hype; we’re designing experiences that make people want to stay,” the CMO said. “It’s not only about yield—it’s about how the product feels to use.”
Airdrop Program: Two Phases
AetheriumX will run an early-access airdrop to recognize early supporters and invite them into the ecosystem ahead of a broader release. The program is planned on TaskOn with two phases:
Phase 1 — Community Tasks (off-chain via TaskOn)
Simple participation tasks qualify users for Phase 2:
- Follow the official X (Twitter) account
- Like & retweet the pinned post
- Join the official Telegram group
- Visit the website
- Connect a wallet
- Optional referral: invite a friend for additional allocation credit
Completion of Phase 1 grants allowlist eligibility for Phase 2. Certain campaigns may include raffle mechanics based on task completion and referrals.
Phase 2 — In-App On-Chain Interactions (within the AetheriumX DApp)
Phase 2 focuses on lightweight, interactive on-chain actions that introduce the core experience:
- Starter staking flows
- A first look at mini-games
- Introductory prediction interactions
The objective is participation over “claim-and-go”, giving users a hands-on preview of how DeFi, play, and prediction reinforce one another inside the product.
Token Roles: AXT and VEXA
- AXT (utility & rewards): Earned by staking supported assets in AetheriumX vaults; acts as the fuel of the ecosystem and a path to deeper participation.
- VEXA (governance & access): Minted by restaking AXT. VEXA is designed to unlock boosted rewards, governance rights, and access to special features in the Game Portal and prediction layer.
“Think of AXT as the system’s bloodstream and VEXA as the voice that shapes it,” the CMO explained. “The airdrop gives the community an early, practical way to experience this loop.”
Growth Approach: Local First, Play-to-Stay
Marketing and community initiatives emphasize a local-first model—partnering with guilds, KOLs, and creators across Asia and LATAM (with further regional rollouts planned). Retention is driven by Play-to-Stay loops: seasonal quests, transparent on-chain incentives, and social mechanics that reward ongoing participation rather than short-lived spikes.
AetheriumX is also collaborating with established airdrop communities—Airdrop Hunters, Airdrop Guild, and DropKing Community—to host AMAs, tutorials, and guides that help users participate confidently and responsibly.

- Phase 1 (TaskOn) will open first, enabling users to complete social tasks and secure allowlist eligibility.
